IEM – INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION MANAGEMENT is pleased to announce the participation of Simply Italian at Vinexpo Asia, scheduled to take place in Hong Kong from May 26 to 28, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

SIMPLY ITALIAN will showcase a collective of companies representing the entire Italian wine industry. This will be an excellent opportunity for producers not only to connect with the Asian market and local operators but also to strengthen their image, expand their customer base, and reinforce trade relationships.

Hong Kong is considered a key hub for China’s import and export activities, thanks to its strategic location. Since 2008, Hong Kong has eliminated tariffs on imported wine—a decision that has helped position the city as a preferred distribution platform for producers aiming to enter the Asian market.

In recent years, many wineries have chosen to invest in Hong Kong, either through local distributors or by opening their own retail outlets and showrooms. Despite its success, some challenges remain, such as increasing competition and economic fluctuations. Nevertheless, Hong Kong continues to offer numerous opportunities for producers looking to expand in Asia.
