Simply Italian Great Wines
AMERICAS TOUR

23rd – 25th February | 2nd March 2026
Raleigh • Miami • Houston

Simply Italian Great Wines, the event created by IEM – International Exhibition Management to promote Italian wine worldwide, will return to one of its most important markets—the United States—with stops in Raleigh, Miami, and Houston.

The three Simply Italian events are specifically designed to give Italian producers the opportunity to meet directly with local professionals (importers, sommeliers, the Ho.Re.Ca. channel) and trade press, fostering the establishment and strengthening of business relationships. The primary goal is to enhance and communicate the value of Italian wine, giving visibility to leading wineries through a rich program of seminars, guided tastings, and workshops.

United States

The U.S. remains the largest wine market in the world, both in terms of consumption and imports of Italian wine. In the first half of the year, there was an increase of 2.5% compared to the previous year.

Over the past year, the wine market has undergone a phase of evolution, creating new opportunities for Italian companies, particularly in the Prosecco and fresh white wine segments. Despite a slowdown in exports in the early part of the year, overall sales has remained stable, a clear indicator of a shift in demand toward premium products.

To mitigate the impact of this scenario, Italian companies can seize the growing demand for light, fresh white wines, aligning with new consumption habits among American consumers. Italian wine continues to represent a highly appealing asset thanks to its cultural and identity value. Even in a context of evolving and redefining consumption trends, the U.S. market remains a strategic, high-potential area for Italian wine.

With a quality-oriented approach, Italian producers can continue to maintain and expand their market share, strengthening their relationship with U.S. consumers.

Florida, Texas, and North Carolina

The United States offers highly diverse internal markets, and among the most promising for Italian wine are Texas, Florida, and North Carolina.

In Texas, demand is growing for full-bodied red wines, Prosecco, and aromatic whites, supported by rising disposable income and strong interest in quality food and wine experiences.

Florida, with its constantly growing tourism, represents fertile ground for sparkling wines, which are particularly appreciated in coastal areas and in the restaurant sector.

In North Carolina, consumption of Italian wine is driven by the restaurant industry and wine tourism, with Raleigh standing out for its growing culinary scene and demand for premium products.

In these three states, the presence of Italian wine is not only well-established but continues to grow, offering significant opportunities for producers who can differentiate their offerings and highlight prestigious denominations.
